Paula Klamburg Roque Signs on for LA28

Hancock Prospecting Artistic Swimming Australia National Head Coach, Paula Klamburg Roque, has signed a four-year extension, which will see her remain in charge of the team until at least the end of the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics. The position also doubles as the Head Coach of the Hancock Prospecting Artistic Swimming Australian National Centre of Excellence, based in Perth.

Olympian Rose Stackpole is one of the successful female Olympians, Paralympians, and World Champions that have been announced as part of 2024 AIS Accelerate, a program designed to retain the experience and knowledge of retiring female athletes in sport.

3 World Cup Medals for Team Australia at World Aquatics Cup

Team Australia has won two silver medals and a bronze medal in the team events following outstanding performances during the first leg of the World Aquatics Cup in Beijing! They also reached new personal best scores showing significant improvements from their recent performance during the World Aquatics Championships in Doha in February.

Busy start of the Year in Artistic Swimming

Artistic Swimmers had a busy start to the year. The Youth & Junior Squad had the first camp for the season in the Ais Campus, Canberra. The Going for Green & Gold Talent Identification camp had its first camp in Brisbane, and the next is coming in Perth (2-3 February). At the same time, the Senior Team is preparing for the World Championship and had a competition simulation last weekend in Perth.

Artistic Swimming Australia welcomes new Chairperson and Board Members

Artistic Swimming Australia (ASA) is pleased to announce the election of a new Chairperson, Mark Sinderberry, and the appointment of two new Directors, Marieke D’Cruz and Julie Orr, following its recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) and most recent Board Meeting. Independent Chair of the ASA Nominations Committee - applications closed

Artistic Swimming Australia (ASA) is looking for an Independent Chair for the Nominations Committee. ASA operates a Nominations Committee which is a formal sub-committee of the Board with the purpose to ensure that there is a robust approach to Board governance matters, identify and assess candidates to fill Director vacancies (full details in the Terms of Reference/Charter) and manage aspects of the election/recruitment process.

Gina Rinehart’s $3m Patron’s Medal Achievement Incentive Fund

Following Australia’s most successful international swimming performances at the recent World Swimming Championships, Swimming Queensland, the Australian Swimmer’s Association, Rowing Australia, Volleyball Australia, together with Artistic Swimming Australia, announced today, a new program to reward top athletes for medal achievements and world records. The Patron's Medal Achievement Incentive Fund powered by Hancock Prospecting, initially commits $3m over two years.
