Team Australia Qualifies for PARIS 2024!

Congratulations to our Senior Team Australia qualifying for The Olympic Games Paris 2024!

The Hancock Prospecting Artistic Swimming Australia team through the World Aquatics Championships has qualified both our team and duet for the Olympics, winning the Oceania Swimming Association quota place at Paris 2024 where we’ll proudly represent the Australian Olympic Team. Congratulations to our amazing coaches (Paula Klamburg Roque, Nawal Leon Kurson & Shoko Ono) and athletes (Rayna Buckle, Hannah Burkhill, Natalie Caloiero, Georgia Courage-Gardiner, Kiera Gazzard, Alessandra Ho, Margo Joseph-Kuo, Marnie Kennedy, Pam Kurosawa, Anastasia Kusmawan, Zoe Poulis, Milena Waldmann, Tara Bennett and Charlotte Smith), you have absolutely earnt this and is reward for all your hard work

Besides the wonderful news of our Olympic qualification, our National Senior Team has an amazing outing at the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka. A wonderful achievement for Hancock Prospecting Artistic Swimming Australia  team to finish the World Aquatics Championships with a first ever team Top 10 finish. We improved from 11th in the preliminaries to finish 8th in the Team Free final with a 221.6416 This is our best result at a World Championships since Donella Burridge finished 7th in Solo at the 1978 Championships and 4th best result ever. 

World Championships ranking for Team Australia: 

  • Duet Technical : 19th  

  • Duet Free : 22nd  

  • Team Acrobatics : 14th  

  • Team Technical (Final) : 12th  

  • Team Free (Final) : 8th
