Join our first Deep Dives conversation with Lana Ireland
Event information
Dear ASA community
We are excited to launch Deep Dives — a new series of online conversations designed to share ideas that can help everyone in our community continue growing and performing at their best. Each session will feature a guest — from within our sport and beyond — bringing insights, tools, and experiences to support wellbeing, performance, and connection across artistic swimming.
Our first guest is Lana Ireland, ASA swimmer number 29, and now one of Australia’s leading sport psychologists. Lana has worked with Olympic athletes and professional teams across a range of sports, helping them build resilience, sharpen focus, and perform under pressure. She blends evidence-based techniques with real-world experience, making her a sought-after voice in high-performance circles.

In this session, Lana will share her own journey in artistic swimming before exploring:
-
High-performance mindsets — what they look like in training and competition, drawing on her work with world-class athletes across disciplines.
-
Sustainable performance — how athletes, especially those still in high school, can balance training, study, and life in a healthy way.
📅 Date/Time: Thursday 6 November, 8pm (AEDT) / 7pm (QLD) / 5pm (WA)
💻 Where: Online (Teams link provided upon registration)
These conversations are for everyone — athletes, parents, coaches, and supporters. There will also be time to ask Lana your questions during the call. If you cannot make it, we will record and share the session afterwards.
We would love you to join us for this inaugural Deep Dives conversation.
Warm regards,
Marieke D'Cruz
